Final event

We are inviting you to the final Stakeholder Conference of the CARLiS project and Matchmaking event for PhD students, companies and other stakeholders. The event is taking place physically in Hotel Crown Plaza in Bratislava.

Participation is FREE OF CHARGE.


STAKEHOLDER CONFERENCE OF THE CARLIS PROJECT (9.00 - 12.00)

The aim of the conference is to present the results of CARLiS project and encourage discussion about the career development of PhD students with focus on preparing them for career paths beyond academia.

Who should participate:

  • Representatives ofHE and research performing institutions, including both management and professionals in doctoral education, career support of researchers and collaboration with business sector.
  • Representative of business associations and companies as well as representatives of local administration and other stakeholdersfrom the regional eco-system interested in fostering collaboration between academia and private sector.

MATCHMAKING EVENT FOR PHD STUDENTS, COMPANIES AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS (13.30 – 17.00)

The aim of the event is to provide opportunities for networking between PhD students, innovative companies and other stakeholders in the life science sector predominantly in region of Bratislava and Vienna.

Who should participate:

  • Innovative companiesactive in life science sector (active in areas such as human and animal health, pharma, health technologies, biotechnologies, agriculture, environment, technologies and consulting for life science sector etc.)
  • PhD Students and young researcherswith research or skills that could be interesting for innovative companies.
  • Institutions and initiatives promoting research, career development of researchers and collaboration between academia and private sector.

HOW TO REGISTER

You can register for both events via the B2Match platform. In the registration form you can choose whether you want to register for the Final Conference, Matchmaking event or both.

The registration is open until November 16th 2022. The number of places is limited, organisers might close the registration earlier in case that all seats are filled.
